2005 Columbia Valley Syrah Ice Wine

Silver Medal, 2006 Oregon State Fair

90 Points, “Zerba Cellars produced a unique effort, a 2005 Syrah Ice Wine. Revealing an exotic wild cherry and blueberry perfume, on the palate it is thick and sweet while balanced by good acidity. Pour it over vanilla ice cream or drink it straight up as the finish to a meal.” The Wine Advocate , August 2007

Our 2005 Columbia Valley Syrah Ice Wine is the first, true ice wine made from Syrah grapes in N. America. This is truly a one of a kind wine! Raspberry and black licorice aromas with exotic spice lead to sweet cotton candy in the mouth. This is an elegant desert wine with wonderful balance between sweetness, acidity and tannins.
