2006 Columbia Valley Syrah

Our Syrah blends fruit from Winesap Road Vineyard, located in the heart of a dense, rocky floodplain on the South fork of the Walla Walla River, with fruit from cool vineyard sites in the Yakima Valley. Our first effort showcasing fruit from these vineyards won first place out of 247 Gold Medal winning wines in Wine Press Northwest’s exclusive 2006 Platinum Awards! Since
that time, our Syrah has consistently ranked among the Pacific Northwest’s finest. This medium-bodied red has aromas of white pepper, plums, and smoked meats layered over a rich, coating mouthful of dark cherries and plums. This wine will pair perfectly with your next grilled ribeye or other backyard specialty.
